Can you install recessed lighting in a plaster ceiling?
Yes. Pre-war plaster ceilings need careful cutting and usually remodel-style housings that clamp into the existing ceiling. We plan the layout, cut cleanly, fish the wiring, and patch where needed.
Do I need a permit to install lighting?
Under DOB rules, electrical installation or modification is permitted work done by a licensed master electrician.
